Lanora "Nora" PIPPIN and Lemuel Willis "Lem" GOOLSBY were married on 25 May 1906 in Putnam County, Tennessee.⁸⁸ Lemuel Willis "Lem" GOOLSBY, son of Goodall GOOLSBY and Lorina F. "Rolina" PIPPIN, was born on 17 January 1872.⁸⁸ He died on 25 July 1947 at the age of 75 in Cookeville, Putnam County, Tennessee.⁸⁸

Lemuel is said to have married twice. Daisy Vantrease was the second wife. There were no children from either marriage.

Lemuel Willis Goolsby died 25 Jul 1947 in Cookeville, Putnam Co, TN. He was 75, born 17 Jan 1872 in Putnam Co, TN. He had been an invalid for several years, but died of a heart attack. His wife, age 53, was Daisy - she was the informant. Lemuel's occupation had been that of grist mill operator. His father was Godall Goolsby, born Putnam Co, TN; his mother Loraine Pippin, born Putnam Co. He was buried Flatt Cemetery, Putnam Co, on July 26th.
