3. Kinchen PIPPIN24 was born in 1828 in Jackson County, Tennessee.25 He died on 29 July 1878 at the age of 50 in Madison, Missouri.

Kinchen and Harriet were first cousins.

By the time of the 1860 Census, Kinchen and family were lived in Madison Co MO, near Saco on the Big St. Francois River. Kinch farmed, operated a distillery and was a JP.

Kinchen returned to Putnam Co TN about 1869 and was counted there on the 1870 census. Son Andrew was born there, but they had gone back to Madison Co MO when Harvey was born. Kinchen's nephew John Whitley Pippin & his family went to Missouri with them.

Kinchen operated a still along with William Peyton Brewington who bought the still after Kinchen died in 1878. Harriet died the following year and they are buried Brewington Cemeter in Saco. He has a Civil War tombstone placed by descendants. The 1880 census for Madison Co MO shows the children all still at home.

Kinchen was born in Pippin Community,Jackson County, Tennessee. Around 1856 he married his first cousin Hariett Finn. He moved his family to Missouri by the 1860 census where they lived near Saco on the Big St. Francois River. He farmed, operated a distillery and served as JP. He enrolled in Company K (Captain Powers'Co.)68th Regt. Missouri Militia,Union at Greenville, Missouri on October 1,1862. he served as a scout and performed engineering duty building roads with his company when they were ordered to Pilot Knob December 1 1862 until his release March 26 1863. He enrolled in Company C, 47th Regt. Missouri Infantry, Union July 1864. He was decribed as 5'11 light hair, blue eyes, fair complexion, 37 years old married; occpuation: farmer. He returned to Putman County, Tennessee about 1869 and then back to Missouri by 1871.They made the trip to Madison County with two teams of oxen and wagons.
Kinchen and Harriet reared their family in Saco where he owned and operated a still. William Peyton Brewington worked with him and purchased the still upon Kinchen's death

Kinchen PIPPIN and Harriet FINN were married about 1856 in Jackson County, Tennessee.3,25 Harriet FINN, daughter of Edmond FINN and Sarah Margaret "Sallie" PIPPIN, was born in 1837 in Jackson County, Tennessee.26,27 She died on 14 July 1879 at the age of 42 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.26

Bejamin died before 1870 in Madison Co MO and is buried with his parents, Brewington Cemetery, Saco.

William Bradford "Deedo" PIPPIN23,28 was born on 27 August 1859 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.29 He died on 22 March 1936 at the age of 76 in Jewett, Madison County, Missouri.29

Married Nancy E. Cox, 21 Oct 1883, Madison Co MO. They lived in Leatherwodd and Saco. Deedo operated a general store and was postmaster ast Saco.

William Bradford had a "welcome home" party for his brother Andy when Andy returned from Argentina. Unfortuantely there was a fight and George H. Young shot Andy who died the next day. Deedo himself was wounded by a charge of buckshot.

Sarah Evelyn "Duley" PIPPIN23,28 was born about 1862 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.30 She died before October 1899 at the age of 37.23,30

Married John Williams, 7 Mar 1881 iin Saco, Madison Co MO.

She had died before 21 Oct 1899 because she didn't share in the division of the estate of her brother Andy. Sarah's husband John was appointed their guardian to receive her share.
In 1917 listed with the following heirs: Margaret Pippin Williams, Mary Pippin Williams, Adam Williams.

Margaret Josephine PIPPIN23,28 was born on 8 September 1865 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.31 She died on 13 January 1935 at the age of 69 in Creek Nation, Madison County, Missouri.31

Married a Roser according to Henry & Eliza Pippin estate settlement. He was William W. Rasor and they married 1 Apr 1882 at the home of the bride.

John Henry "Jack" PIPPIN28 was born about 1866 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.32 He died about 1917 at the age of 51 in DeRidder, Beauregard Parish, Louisiana.32

William Peyton "Pate" PIPPIN23,28 was born on 7 October 1867 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.32 He died on 18 February 1926 at the age of 58 in Saint Louis, Saint Louis County, Missouri.32

William was called "General". He married Lucinda Belle "Lula" Graham on 10 Sep 1893 in Madison Co MO. Her mother gave consent. They lived most of their lives in Iron Co MO.

Andrew "Andy" PIPPIN28 was born in December 1869 in Putnam County, Tennessee.33 He died on 20 October 1899 at the age of 29 in Jewett, Madison County, Missouri.33

Andy was born during the few years the family returned to Tennessee.

His brother William Bradford was giving him welcome home party - he had been working in Argentina for several years in the lumbering industry. He was shot by George Young on Oct 19, 1899 and died the next day.

Andy is buried at Brewington Cemetery, Saco, Madison Co MO.

Harvey Leslie PIPPIN23,28 was born on 22 October 1871 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.33 He died on 18 November 1960 at the age of 89 in DeRidder, Beauregard Parish, Louisiana.33

Harvey married Martha Ann Turner about 1900 in Knight, Vernon Parish, LA.

Simeon PIPPIN28 was born in 1873 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.34 He died before 1899 at the age of 26 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.34

Simon never married. He was deceased when his brother Andy was shot in October of 1899.

George Washington PIPPIN23,28 was born in October 1877 in Saco, Madison County, Missouri.34 He died on 12 January 1920 at the age of 42 in Middlebrook, Iron County, Missouri.34

George was only two when his mother died. After the older children married, he lived with his sister Margaret in the Creek Nation Community. Later he lived his brother William on Black River in Iron Co MO. He married Nellie Anderson.
