4. Hulda Jane PIPPIN³⁵ was born in 1829 in Jackson County, Tennessee.⁴ She died about 1857 at the age of 28 in Macon County, Missouri.³⁶

Hulda Jane PIPPIN and William J. CHAFFIN were married about 1845. William J. CHAFFIN, son of Elias CHAFFIN and Mary [CHAFFIN], was born in October 1826.³⁶ He died before 1910 at the age of 84 in Fannin County, Texas.³⁶

Obviously William J. Chaffin remarried. He is in the 1880 Fannin Co TX census next door to his daughter Margaret who had married Howell Pippin Jr.
