40. Mary Margaret CHAFFIN²³ was born in February 1847 in Greene County, Missouri.¹⁰³ She died after 1920 at the age of 73 in Texas.¹⁰³ Married a Pippin. Sold her share in estate to Morgan Pippin.

Mary Margaret CHAFFIN and William Howell PIPPIN were married.¹⁰⁴ William Howell PIPPIN^105,106, son of Howell PIPPIN and Amelia Elizabeth "Amy" SWEARINGTON, was born in 1845 in Chariton County, Missouri.⁸² He died after 1910 at the age of 65 in Jack County, Texas.

Mary and Howell were 1st cousins once removed.

They are in the 1880 census in Fannin Co TX, p.345, Household 404. This is the same page as Howell's sister Dianna Pippin Lingo and Margaret's father William J. Chaffin.
