Ridenour, 77, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Lawrence. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Ridenour died Friday, March 28, 2008, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 18, 1930, in Stilwell, the son of George M. and Grace Elizabeth Ridenour. He graduated from Wheaton High School in Wheaton, Mo., in 1948.
Mr. Ridenour worked for the National Zinc Company in Bartlesville, Okla., for 17 years, then worked for IBEW Local 226. After retiring in 1968, he moved to Lawrence and was a self-employed electrician.
He married Yvonne Drury on June 17, 1949. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Bobby L., Lawrence, Teddy J., Bethany, Mo., and Jeffery P., Big Springs; a brother, Ray; a sister, Alta Weems; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren

Janet Yvonne Drury Ridenour was born September 4, 1931 in Wichita, Kansas to Paul Harris and Sophrona Jane Drury. On June 17, 1949 she married Clarence Hobart Ridenour in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They lived in Bartlesville until September 1968 then moved to Lawrence, Kansas. She resided in Lawrence until her death April 15, 2015.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, Clarence and sisters Anabell and Pauline.
She is survived by Three sons & a Daughter-in-Law. 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, 1 Sister and husband, 2 Brothers-in-Law and 1 Sister-in-law. |
