48. Elisha HARRISON was born in 1835 in Kentucky.¹⁰ He died on 14 July 1868 at the age of 33.

Elisha divorced Martha. proceedings against his wife Martha Ann in June of 1861. The final judgment was filed in June 1862:

until one year from this date that plaintiff pay the cost of the action
and this cause is stricken from the docket.

Elisha Harrison enlisted 10 Sep 1861, in the Union Army at Camp Dick Robinson. He was a private in Co E, 1st Cavalry REgt KY, 28 Oct 1861 and received a disability discharge from that regiment on 1 Jun 1862 at Murfreesboro, TN

Elisha Harrison and Anna Jane Isaacs had no children of their own, but Anna Jane was made guardian of the children of Elisha Harrison and Martha Rose, after the death of Elisha Harrison prior to February 1867. The guardianship was listed in the Jackson County
Court Order Book, February term, 1867, p. 544:
On the motion of Ann Jane Harrison and the court being fully advised,
it is therefore ordered that she, Ann Jane Harrison be and she is
hereby appointed guardian to the infant heirs of Elisha Harrison
deceased, viz: John P. B. Harrison born 4 November 1856, B.B. Harrison
born 27 December 1858, John[Joseph] S. Harrison born 13 January 1861 and whereupon
she came forward and entered into bond with William C. Harrison and
Thomas Harrison security and she took oath as the law requires.
[Thomas & William C. probably uncles of deceased Elisha Harrison.]

Elisha HARRISON and Martha Ann ROSE were married on 10 November 1855 in Madison County, Kentucky. They were divorced in June 1862 in Jackson County, Kentucky. Martha Ann ROSE was born in 1837 in Kentucky.

Elisha HARRISON and Martha Ann ROSE had the following children:

Elisha HARRISON and Anna Jane ISAACS were married on 4 May 1863 in Jackson County, Kentucky. Anna Jane ISAACS, daughter of Godfrey S. ISAACS and Elizabeth "Betsey" HOWARD, was born in 1832 in Kentucky.⁴³

Anna Jane first married Israel Rose; she married (2) to Elisha Harrison, 4 May 1863, Jackson Co, KY. He died in 1868 and she was appointed guardian of Harrison's children [see his notes]
