Lovell S. Stephenson, 70, of Armona died at her home Feb. 21.
She was a native of Van Buren, Ark., had lived in Armona for a year and a half. A housewife, she had lived in Winters for 10 years before moving to Armona.
She is survived by her mother, Dealie McCullough of Woodland; three sons, Sherman Stephenson of Corcoran, Don Stephenson of Sacramento, and Joe Stephenson of Armona; two daughters, Mae Rodriguez of Woodlake & Kay Herron of Stockton; a brother, Odell Harrison of Woodland; three sisters, Vuneda Brewer of Woodland, Eunice Green of Knights Landing, and Rose Lee Brewer of Woodland; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted Feb. 17th at the Woodland Cemetery. Local arrangements were by the People's Funeral Chapel.

ALMA — Sherman S. Stephenson, 66, of Alma died Saturday, May 28, 2005, in a local hospital. He was born June 3, 1938, in Crawford County. He was a member of Old Time Country Church in Van Buren where he was an elder and trustee, and was a retired field mechanic for J.G. Bosewell Cotton and Grain Farming.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Yoestown Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; four stepdaughters, Sharon, Patricia and Bonnie Provost and Judy Smith, all of California; one son, Clay Stephenson of Chester; one stepson, John Provost II of Henderson, Nev.; two sisters, Mae Rodriquez and Kay Heron, both of California; one brother, Don Stephenson of Van Buren; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
