Elisha H. HARRISON and Delilah LAKES were married on 29 April 1849 in Estill County, Kentucky.⁴ Delilah LAKES, daughter of Carter LAKES and Eady SKINNER, was born in 1826 in Kentucky.³⁰ She died on 20 October 1899 at the age of 73 in Berea, Madison County, Kentucky.

Although the first census suggests she was born about 1826, her memorial on FindAGrave lists her year of birth as 1832. Died 20 Oct 1899 and is buried Parks Cemetery, Berea, Madison, KY along with her husband.
