Abijah Gabbard of Newfound, Clay Co, died 17 Jan 1927 of lobar pneumonia and the informities of old age. He was widowed, born 21 Jun 1843 in Kentucky and was a farmer. His father was Isaac Gabbard, b. VA; his mother was Jenny Isaac, b. TN. L. M. Gabbard of Newfound, was the informant. Buried Jan 19th at Ricetown, KY.

Abijah B. GABBARD and Nancy Jane BISHOP were married about 1869. Nancy Jane BISHOP was born on 10 March 1849 in Clay County, Kentucky. She died on 24 April 1911 at the age of 62 in Owsley County, Kentucky.
