1930 Census. Bruce listed as Leeman P. Fry this time. Age 66, married at age 30. Born TX, both parents b. MO. Mary P., wife, was age 58, b. AR, parents b. TN. Beatrice S. age 22, Wesley B., age 19 and Samuel W. age 14. The family lived on Mill St.

"Personal" in the Ladonia News stated that one of the children was home visiting mother, Mrs. P. B. Fry on 4 Jan 1940, indicating in all likelihood Bruce was deceased by this date.

P. B. Fry was age 69 when he died 16 Mar 1932. Death was due to arteriosclerosis and paralysis of his left arm and leg. Bruce was a retired merchant. He was married to Mrs. Pearl Fry. He was born in Fannin Co, 13 Aug 1863. His father was Will Fry, b. MO; mother was Saproni [Saphronia] Abernathy, b. MO. S. D. Fry, his brother, was the informant and the doctor.

Pleman Bruce FRY and Mary Pearl EAGLETON were married on 26 October 1893 in Fannin County, Texas.207 Mary Pearl EAGLETON204,206,207,208, daughter of George Ewing EAGLETON and Mary Ethlinda FOUTE, was born on 5 May 1871 in Arkansas.204 She died on 30 September 1960 at the age of 89 in Ladonia, Fannin County, Texas.

Pearl Fry living alone on Church Street. She owned her home valued at $900. Pearl was 68, widowed, born in Arkansas. She had lived in the same house in 1935. She had gone to high school for 4 years.

Mary Pearl Fry had lived in Ladonia for 80 years; she was 89 when she died 30 Sep 1960 of congestive heart failure. She was born 5 May 1871, in Arkansas. Her father was Geo. Eagleton; her mother "Mary Pearl Eagleton". Son W. B. Fry was the informant. [sons are notorious for giving wrong information - he gave his own mother's name, not her mother's.] She was buried Ladonia Cemetery.
