385. Amanda FRY was born in February 1842 in Kentucky. She died on 16 August 1919 at the age of 77 in Terrell, Kaufman County, Texas.

Amanda and John S. Biggerstaff moved to Fannin Co, TX sometime after 1870 when they were in Clinton Co MO and the birth of their son Hubert H. in Texas in May of 1872.

John and Amanda Biggerstaff had twelve children, two died young and were buried in Plattsburg, MO. John S. Biggerstaff's father was Samuel Grubbs Biggerstaff from Kentucky who arrived in Clinton Co MO in the 1830's.

Amanda Biggerstaff died in Terrell, Kaufman Co, TX. She was married, born 1847 in Kentucky. She was age 77 when she died on 16 Aug 1919. The cause of death was dysentery with senile dementia contributing. No information is given about her parents. W. E. Atkins, the attending doctor was also the informant. She was siad to have contracted the disease at the place of death, where she had lived for five years. Her former residence was Fannin Co, TX. She was buried in Randolph, Fannin Co, on August 17th.

The online listing of Lindsey Cemetery, Randolph has Amanda as born 5 Feb 1842, died 5 Aug 1919. Her husband John S. Biggerstaff is also buried there with the dates, born 25 Nov 1839, died 1919. No death certificate was found for him.

I did find Death Certificates for two of the Biggerstaff sons.
Ralph G. Biggerstaff, of 821 W. 10th St., Bonham, Fannin Co, died 12 Jun 1946. He was married. Born 13 Feb 1879, Fannin Co, he was age 67 when he died of cancer of the stomach and heart trouble. He was a retired farmer. His father was John S. Biggerstaff, b. MO, and his mother was Amanda Fry, b. KY. Mrs. Ralph G. Biggerstaff was the informant.
John Crow Biggerstaff, 501 East Tulane, Lubbock, TX, died 29 Oct 1952. He was widowed, a farmer, born in Missouri, 30 Oct 1866. His father was Jack Biggerstaff, b. MO; his mother was "Amenda" Fry, b. KY. Mrs. Gladys Hughes was the informant. John died of cancer of the bladder after a two year illness. He was buried Abernathy Cemetery, Abernathy, TX.

Amanda FRY and John Sanders BIGGERSTAFF were married circa 1861. John Sanders BIGGERSTAFF was born in November 1839 in Missouri. He died in 1919 at the age of 80 in Fannin County, Texas.
