Obituary
LADONIA - Funeral Service for John G. Casey, 79, of Ladonia, will be at 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church of Ladonia. Burial will be in Ladonia Cemetery.
Larry Tinsley and Edward Goron will officiate and arrangements will be under the direction of Delta Funeral Home of Ladonia.
Mr. Casey died Sunday. He was born Jan. 28, 1902, the son of Columbus D. Casey and Sydney Fry Casey. Feb 4, 1934, he married Clara Milville in Ladonia.
Survivors include his wife of Ladonia: nephews William C. Casey of Copperas Cove, Donald Casey Foster of DeSoto, Dale Foster of Orange Grove and Elmo Foster of Santa Maria, Calif.; and his niece Delma [obit ends here although there was obviously more and her surname was apparently KYLE - see the Greeville Herald Banner below.]

Note: I can identify William C. Casey, as a son of Columbus D. Casey Jr. Donald, Dale, & Elmo Foster were sons of John's sister Myrtle. Delma Kyle was likely a great niece, a granddaughter of Myrtle's because her oldest daughter Anna married a Delma [or Delmar] Kyle.

I believe that Clara Melville that married John Gilbert Casey and Vada Melville that married his brother Columbus were sisters. James A. Melville took his own life when he was age 72 and his obit names two daughters married to Caseys. See Vada's notes for more information.
