76. John FRY³⁹ was born in 1752. He died in 1809 at the age of 57.

John married Sarah Ann Clowser. She was born about 1754, daughter of Henry Clowser (1721-1764) and Anna Maria. Mrs. Clowser and three of her daughters including Sarah Ann, age about 10 at the time, were taken prisoner by the Indians - a young daughter, age 2, was killed as she impeded traveling. They were held for about six months before being released.

John FRY and Sarah Ann CLOWSER were married. Sarah Ann CLOWSER, daughter of Henry CLOWSER and Anna Maria [CLOWSER], was born in 1754. She died after 1810 at the age of 56.
