74. William Miles DENNIS¹⁸ was born on 17 September 1864 in Tennessee.^17,18 He died on 13 September 1952 at the age of 87 in Jackson County, Tennessee.¹⁸

The 1880 census indicated William was born 1867. However, his death certificate gave his birth as 17 Sep 1864 and stated that he was age 87 at death. He died of coronary thrombosis. He was widowed at the time. Kirk Dennis of Gainesboro TN was the informant. He was buried at Rob-Draper Memorial Cemetery.

William Miles DENNIS and Martha Elizabeth LOFTIS were married on 16 May 1886. Martha Elizabeth LOFTIS⁴⁴ was born on 22 August 1866 in Jackson County, Tennessee.⁴⁴ She died on 21 March 1941 at the age of 74 in Gainesboro, Jackson County, Tennessee.⁴⁴

Martha parents were G. R. Loftis and Sallie Chaffin. Her husband gave the information for her death certificate. She was buried in the Johnson Cemetery in Gainesboro, Jackson Co, TN.
