Armistead FLIPPIN and Frances DIXON were married about 1792. Frances DIXON⁶⁸, daughter of Henry DIXON and Martha Frances WYNNE, was born in 1775 in Caswell County, North Carolina.⁶⁸ She died in 1850 at the age of 75 in Smith County, Tennessee.⁶⁸

Married Armistead Flippen. The database cites a marriage 12 Dec 1779 in Kingston Parish, Gloucester Co VA for a Frances Dixon and Armistead Brookes Flippen.
Obviously cannot be this Frances unless her birth is wrong by about ten years. Frances instead married married Armistead Flippen, brother to Jenny Flippen Brookes who had married her brother Robert.
