James S. Holderness, a resident of St. Louis for 20 years before his retirement two years ago, died at his home at Fordyce, Ark., today after a long illness. He was 67 years old.
Mr. Holderness was the brother of M. E. Holderness, vice president of H. B. Deal & Co. and treasurer of the Municipal Theater Association here. He was associated with Scruggs-Vandervoort-Barney, Inc. He attended Vanderbilt and Tulane Universities.
Surviving in addition to his wife and brother, is a sister, Mrs. John R. Hampton, Little Rock, Ark.

Dr. James Sidney HOLDERNESS and Margie Belle BIRSENTINE were married on 25 October 1924 in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.¹⁵⁴ Margie Belle BIRSENTINE was born in 1882. She died in May 1970 at the age of 88.

LEE ATCHLEY DIED LAST NIGHT
Thomas Lee Atchley died at his home, 1105 South Cherry Street, at 9:30 last night. He was a clerk at Dreyfus' for a long time, also for S. Bluthenthal for a number of years. He was thirty-two years of age, he leaves a wife and son, Winfred, to mourn his death; also a sister in this city.
