Cumby, Tex., Dec 19 - Dear Santa Claus: I am a little girl 9 years old. come to see my Christmas and bring me a pair of gloves, a fascinator, set of toy dishes, some candy, oranges, nuts, and fruits. Your little friend. Lynna Holdeerness.

I found a card from a party, June 14, 1911, at the residence of R. W. Harris [Virginia "Jennie" Holderness]. Guests were Mrs. J. G. Russell [Rebecca Holderness] of Madill, Okla., Mrs. J. B. Haden [Elizabeth Holderness] of Ladonia, Tex., Mrs. C. H. Wright [Willie Holderness], also of Madill, and Miss Lynna Holderness of "Just Anywhere". I suspect the occasion was the 21st birthday of Lynna. The ladies were her four aunts.

Had one child, Gary B. Hogan Jr. who married Alberta Camplin.

Although the Holderness book states that Lynna died in 1930, it was obviously later this year. The census was taken on April 5th.

Lynna Ree HOLDERNESS and Gary Bert HOGAN were married on 4 September 1913 in Hopkins County, Texas.²⁹ Gary Bert HOGAN^193,221 was born on 7 August 1893 in Texas. He died on 15 November 1963 at the age of 70 in Dallas County, Texas.

Gary married again after the death of Lynna. On his grave marker is "Hazel F., 1900-1987"

Survived by wife, Mrs. G. Bert Hogan: son, Gary B. Hogan Jr: one grandchild: sisters, Mrs. Augusta Stanley, Mrs J.D. Ivey, Mrs. Zona Ivey.

Gary Bert Hogan died 15 Nov 1963 in the Methodist Hospital in Dallas of a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm.. He had lived in Dalls for 22 years. His residence was 2418 Alco St. He was married, a Realtor. Born 7 Aug 1893 in Texas. His parents were S. W. Hogan and Nannie Bannister. The informant was Mrs. Hazel Hogan. Buried Lourel Land Cemetery on Nov 18th.
