105. Harriet R. HOLDERNESS^102,103,161 was born on 1 April 1832 in Georgia.³⁶ She died on 16 October 1863 at the age of 31.³⁶

Census of 1830 and 1840 show that Harriet was possibly born in Apr of 1830 rather than 1832. She is listed as age 18 in 1850.

In 1860, Harriet was growing still younger as she listed her age as 25. In that census I find: E. D. Stringer, age 29, Farmer, b. Georgia. He gave no value for his property but had $2500 worth of personal estate. That value no doubt represented by the three slaves listed in the Slave Schedule.. C. A. Stringer, age 3, female, and Joseph age 2 months, were listed in the household.

Harriet R. HOLDERNESS and Emory Dawkins STRINGER were married on 11 September 1854 in Jefferson County, Florida.³⁶ Emory Dawkins STRINGER, son of Smith STRINGER and Sarah MORRISON, was born on 21 May 1830 in Georgia.¹⁶¹ He died on 16 December 1912 at the age of 82 in Thomas County, Georgia.

I found Sidney Holderness Stringer as registering in the 1917-1918 Draft. He was born 17 Jan 1899, living in Metcalf, GA at the time he registered in Leon Co FL.
I knew he must somehow be connected to the family. Census records eventually proved that he was a son of Robert Stringer, the eldest son of Emory by his second wife - it appears doubtful that he had any blood relationship to the Holderness family.
