Center Point Cemetery
Porter Holcomb was victim of gun accident. His father was cleaning a deer rifle after hunting; the gun accidentally discharged, killing the three year old boy.

J. D. “Jay” Addington, great uncle (on mother’s side) of Robert L. “Bob” Walker, lived one half mile west of cemetery. One evening, about sundown, he noticed a wagon camped by the cemetery. Early the next morning he heard the wagon leave. When he went by the cemetery later in the day there was a small, fresh grave. It is thought that the people lost a baby or very small child. No name or information was left. The unknown grave is located in Row 3 Lot 33.
