April, 1998 -- Brian sent away to Heritage World in Ireland to have themd o a search for Frederich Sparling, b. May 4, 1883. May 5, 1998 --Heritage World replied, saying they had found Frederick Sparling, bornMay 6, 1883, son of Christopher Sparling, a farmer, and Eliza Clifred, both of Rownbeg Townland. Brian has a copy of the birth record. The birth record, number 134, was recorded on May 13, 1883.
Louise Burris -- He came from NY, worked on Panama Canal, came toEvansville, worked on a farm. Met Mary Cline. Married in Dane farm(Marget Schunk nee Millet) March 1920.
He may have contracted malaria working on the Panama Canal.
Kent's notes - I do not belive that this is the Frederick born in Ireland in 1883. All census records indicate that the Frederick who married Marie Cline was born in NY.
