JOSEPH Sparling (circa 1799) married Amelia (1804). They emigrated to St Vincent Twp, Grey Co by 1851 where he was a farmer, aged 52, 'recently moved from Euphrasia'. This might indicate a link with George and Ann Heavenor who lived there at that time. Could this be another son of John and Ann Fitzell? We had a Joseph serving with the Adare Yeomanry in 1823.
THIS IS ACTUALLY JAMES SPARLING m AMELIA BALL WHO WAS MERELY VISITING AT THE TIME OF THE CENSUS. THEY WERE ALSO ENUMERATED IN EUPHRASIA. ON THE SAME PAGE IN THE ST VINCENT CENSUS ARE JAMES m ANN WILLOUGHBY (Geo 2), ROBERT ATKINS (brother of Mary who married JAMES (Jas OR Ch IV I) AS WELL AS LOFTUS (Geo 2) AND LIDDY (Geo 7) SPARLING AND HER FUTURE HUSBAND JOHN HOUSE.
