Petition to Ainslie: Petitioner, age 39, a native of New York, has lived in Cape Breton the past ten years. He is married and has three children. He drew land, but his brother obtained the title. He asks a lot at the Sugar Loaf, Cape North, County of Don, Parish of Anstruther. This lot was abandoned by George Carter who lives with his father at the Gut of Canso. Note: recommended. Petition to Kempt: Petitioner is a native of New York, whence he fled with his parents and took refuge in Shelburne at the commencement of the American Revolution. He is 43 years old, married, and has three children. He has been living about five years on a lot at Aspey Bay on a lot given him by Gov. Ainslie. He asks confirmation of this lot and also a fishing lot at White Point. Note: approved.
