Be it Remembered, That on this 1st day of November, A.D. 1841, the following Marriage License was issued, to-wit:

State of Indiana, Morgan County, ss:

TO ANY PERSON EMPOWERED BY LAW TO SOLEMNIZE MARRIAGES, GREETING:

You are hereby authorized to join together as Husband and Wife David T. Neal and Susannah Bowlen, and of this, together with your Certificate of Marriage, make due return, within three months, according to the laws of the State of Indiana.

Witness, H. R. Stevens, Clerk of our said Morgan Circuit Court, and the Seal thereof, affixed at the Clerk's Office in Martinsville, Indiana, this 1st day of November 1841.

Be it further Remembered, That on this [blank] day of [blank], A.D. 18[blank], the following Certificate was filed in my office, to-wit:

State of Indiana, Morgan County, ss:

I, [blank], hereby certify that on the 4th day of November A.D. 1841, I duly joined in marriage David T. Neal and Susannah Bowlen by authority of Law and a License from the Clerk of the Morgan Circuit Court.
