Be it Remembered, That on this 11th day of February, A.D. 1837, the following Marriage License was issued, to-wit:

 

State of Indiana, Morgan County, ss:

TO ANY PERSON EMPOWERED BY LAW TO SOLEMNIZE MARRIAGES, GREETING:

You are hereby authorized to join together as Husband and Wife Hawkins Bales and Ferreby Bolen, and of this, together with your Certificate of Marriage, make due return, within three months, according to the laws of the State of Indiana.

Witness, H. R. Stevens, Clerk of our said Morgan Circuit Court, and the Seal thereof, affixed at the Clerk's Office in Martinsville, Indiana, this 11th day of February 1837.

Be it Further Remembered, That on this [blank] day of [blank], A.D. 18[blank], the following Certificate was filed in my office, to-wit:

 

State of Indiana, Morgan County, ss:

I, William Baker, hereby certify that on the 16th day of February A.D. 1837, I duly joined in marriage Hawkins Bales and Ferreby Bolen, by authority of Law and a License from the Clerk of the Morgan Circuit Court.
