Be it Remembered, That on this 25th day of January, A.D. 1837, the following Marriage License was issued, to-wit:
State of Indiana, Morgan County, ss:
TO ANY PERSON EMPOWERED BY LAW TO SOLEMNIZE MARRIAGES, GREETING:
You are herby authorized to join together as Husband and Wife Elijah Long and Nancy Baker, and of this, together with your Certificate of Marriage, make due return, within three months, according to the laws of the State of Indiana.
Witness, H. R. Stevens, Clerk of our said Morgan Circuit Court, and the Seal thereof, affixed at the Clerk's Office in Martinsville, Indiana, this 25th day of January 1837.

State of Indiana, Morgan County, ss:
I, William Baker, hereby certify that on the 26" day of January A.D. 1837, I duly joined in marriage Elijah Long and Nancy Baker, by authority of Law and a License from the Clerk of the Morgan Circuit Court.
