Christopher C. Bolin, Jr., Pension File, Service Report to the Pension Office

Sir:

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt from your Office of application for Pension No. 59,718, and to return it herewith, with such information as is furnished by the files of this Office.

It appears from the Rolls on file in this Office, that Christopher Bowlin was enrolled on the 12th day of August, 1862, at Monroe Co. in Co. B, 67th Regiment of Indiana Volunteers, to serve three years, or during the war, and mustered into service as a Private on the 19th day of August, 1862, at Madison, Ind., in Co. B, 67th Regiment of Indiana Volunteers, to serve three years, or during the war. On the Muster Roll of Co. B of that Regiment, for the months of September and October, 1863, he is reported "Died at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. June 25, 1863, of Dysentary"
