Mrs. Mary Ann Clapper, widow of Thomas Clapper, died at her home in Yellow Creek on Wednesday, August 4, 1937. She was a native of Yellow Creek; the daughter of Frederick and Rebecca (Hetrick) Zook. Both deceased. She was united in marriage with Thomas Clapper on December 20, 1901. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1937.
Surviving are the following children: Donald Clapper, of Chester, Pa; Mrs. Ely Whited, of Altoona; George Clapper, Lea and Elooise Clapper, at home. Three grandchildren, two brothers, J. I. Zook, of Waynoke, Oklahoma, and Fred Zook, of Yellow Creek; and one sister, Mrs. Tina Sipes, of Martinsburg, also survive.
She was a member of the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren. Funeral services will be held this (Friday) afternoon at 1:30 o"clcock at theh home, with Rev. E. Paul Dilling officiating. Internment will be in the Steel cemetery. M. J. Maust. Funeral Services
