LEWISTOWN - Donald S. Rossman, 89, of East Walnut Street, Lewistown went to be with the Lord Saturday, Sept. 11 at Ohesson Manor. He was born Jan. 2, 1921, in Granville Township. He was the son of the late H. Merle and Esther (Goss) Rossman. Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen Goss Rossman.
Also surviving are two sisters, Shirley Partchey and Donna Goss.
And many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rossman worked for Standard Steel for 60 years retiring in 1982. He was in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Donald was a life member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Alfarata, Lewistown Lodge No. 203 F&AM, Lewistown Commandery No. 26, Knights of Templar, Mifflintown, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Juniata Valley Forest No. 88, Lewistown Royal Arch Chapter No. 186 of Lewistown, American Legion Post No. 0942 of McClure.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Barr Funeral Home, Inc. 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. David Pennebaker officiating.
Interment will be in the Lind Memorial Cemetery Lewistown. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
