Court Records:

The County Clerk�s Office will search probate records, wills, and divorce records for a $5.00 fee. The fee is charged whether or not a record is found. Photocopies of the indexes to the old wills and probate records are available in the Clerk�s Office for the public to search through.

Birth and death certificates may also be ordered online from the Texas Department of State Health Services at http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/vs/reqproc/birth_death_general.shtm. There are restrictions on ordering, so read the instructions carefully.
