The following letter was received 5 August 1966 from Mrs. R. P. Hessinger. I have no further information on any of these folks....they aren't mine...but maybe someone else can use this. This is copied ver batim from her letter:

EUGENE born 24 April 1874 (father of Mrs. Hessinger)
MARY E. born 30 June 1870 died June (no year given)
WINFRED H. born 3 Mar 1872, died 10 Oct 1872
TENNESSEE A. EDGE KILLINGSWORTH died January 1877.
JOHN RICE KILLINGSWORTH married April 1877 AMANDA C. GENT in Polk County, Missouri. Their issue:
HAIZY S. born 22 August 1878
NORA M. born 28 December 1880
Julia L. born 14 Dec 1883
AMANDA C. GENT was the daughter of NATHAN GENT and wife, MARY E. ________ of Polk County, Missouri. AMANDA died 11 March 1887. JOHN RICE KILLINGSWORTH died 24 July 1926, Veteran of Civil War. (end of letter)
