Giraloma Scalaro

 

Giraloma "Aunt Mae" Scalaro, 103, a resident of Heritage Acres Care Center, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2002. Services: 9 a.m. Saturday, All Saints Catholic Church, by the Rev. David O'Connor.  Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. today, with a wake service begining at 7. p.m.  Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Morris and husband Al of Cedar Rapids; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law Charlotte Scalaro of Kansas City Mo.  

 

She was preceeded in death by six brothers and two sisters.  

 

Aunt Mae was born September 6, 1898, in Chicago, to Marion and Antonio Pusateri Scalaro. She worked in assembly at Collins Radio for 15 years. She was a charter member of All Saints Catholic Church and loved to bake kolaches.  

 

Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
