Mallow Archaeological & Historical Society

With pleasure we present to our readers the 9th. issue of the Mallow Field Club Journal. In a review of local historical journals in the county, published in the Cork Historical & Archaeological Society Journal of 1991 Mr. Tim Cadogan has this to say about our publication: "this Journal has been a model of consistency making its annual and welcome appearance each December. Not only its regularity recommends it; averaging over 160 pages per issue, this Journal has been the model of a modern crop of local history periodicals. Its numerous articles on diverse subjects of historical interest have always attained a standard of excellence and presentation."

We thank our contributors, our readers and all who helped make the Journal a success. Once again we appeal to our readers for articles, photographs, old letters or manuscripts for publication.
