By this organization, the history of ownership/rental of a particular piece of property over the course of many years may reveal some family connections, explains Ann Brown-Juarez. "Though not a concrete source of proof, I was able to establish connections between husbands who had died and left property to spouse, then on down to a son ect. I found a few where the property seemed to go to someone of the spouses maiden name."
