THE ALL IRELAND BIRTH/DEATH INDICES   My understanding is that there is a high likelihood that the birth, marriage and death indexes of Ireland will be online by the end of this year. When I began this project, I didn't know that would be possibility. I have done some work on this project and hate to have it go for naught, and have decided to put online the items that I have transcribed to this point. There is a possibility that I may continue to add to these. You might ask why I would continue to do this even though I have heard that these are due to be brought online by Ireland itself. Well, it would be because I have a huge commitment to my fellow Irish researchers out there being able to find that missing piece of their puzzle as soon as possible. I know that there are some out there who cannot get to libraries, who cannot visit the place where their ancestors were born, some who cannot even leave their homes to do the first part of research. It is for them that I have continued with what I am doing. How long will I work on this project? Well, it won't be the highest priority project for me, because I will look for other items that will continue to make a difference for myself and others.
