Palmer Family
Quick Overview || Documentation || Links
Introduction
Nothing is known about Rhoda Palmer's immediate family or her ancestors. According to The Tyler genealogy by Willard I. Tyler Brigham, she was born in Bath, Grafton County, New Hampshire. However, it has been suggested that she may have been a daughter of James Palmer of Warner, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Evidence in support of this theory include the fact that Rhoda's second son was named James P. Tyler, Samuel Tyler is listed immediately after James Palmer in the 1820 census for Warner, and Samuel and Rhoda were married in Warner.
