Timothy J. Tennant, 64

Timothy Joseph Tennant, 64, Kalispell, died Wednesday afternoon while working in the
Pleasant Valley area.

He was born Aug. 18, 1919, in Calvert, Mont., a son of Abraham and Mary Tennant. He was
educated at Stockett.

On Nov. 18, 1941, he entered the U.S. Air Force at Great Falls where he served until
receiving his honorable discharge Oct. 1, 1945, at Fort Lewis Wash. He later moved to
Seattle, Wash. where on Oct. 30, 1950, he married Minnie Mace.

Mr. Tennant had been employed as a machinist for Boeing Aircraft until 1969, when he
moved to Kalispell. He then operated his own machine shop and had been employed with
Rolie's Machine Shop.

He was a member of the St. Matthew's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the
Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie, at home; one son, Joseph Tennant of Kalispell; a
brother, George Tennant of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; four sisters, Ann Marie Galitzeck of
Spokane, Kathleen Kelleher, Frances Johnson and Margaret Crawford all of Seattle, Wash.;
two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rosary for Mr. Tennant will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Johnson Mortuary Chapel.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Matthew's
Catholic Church with the Rev. Emmett O'Neill as celebrant. Burial will be in the
Glacier Memorial Gardens where military rites will be conducted by the local veterans
organization.



He was married to Minnie Mace on October 30, 1950 in USA-Wash-Seattle. Timothy Joseph Tennant and Minnie Mace had the following children:
