GORRELL, FOUGHTY

Looking for others researching the GORRELL lines in Wells County. The 1850 census lists three GORRELL brothers (Joseph, Jesse B., and Thomas), and one Gorrell sister (Lettice FOUGHTY) living in Jefferson Township in Wells Co, Indiana. All of these are the children of James Gorrell, and were born in Beaver Co., Indiana.
Joseph's bio is published on this sight, and I have a copy of an article on the Jesse B. Gorrell bible (he moved to Allen Co. before 1860), but I have not had any tracing Thomas's, or Lettice's family. Is anyone else out there tracing this line? If so I have a lot of information to trade. Thanks.

MEREDITH

Would you mind terribly if I ask you to look up a marriage record. The surname is MEREDITH (that would be the groom's name) and the brides first name would be Dora. That's all I have to go on. The dates would likely be sometime around 1890 to maybe 1894, assuming the issue of that union was "legitimate". The issue would be my grandfather, making Dora my great grandmother. Sorry, I don't know the groom's first name. Anything you can tell me can be helpful, even if it is negative.

NEDROW, LANDIS, HEY

I am trying to find information on Simon P. NEDROW born February 1, 1820 in Somerset County, PA and his parents and daughters Saloma LANDIS and Mary HEY. Simon and his family left Pa and went to Ohio in the 1830's. Simon was married to Rebecca CRITES in 1841. This marriage was performed by Michael Nedrow born: 1802, Justice of the Peace. Simon and Rebecca were in the 1850 Dover, Tuscarawas County, Ohio census. They left Tuscarawas County, OH and went to Wells County in 1852 then to Huntington County, Indiana shortly thereafter. Simon and Rebecca were members of the Brethren church. Simon died in 1909 at the age of 89 of cancer. The names on his death certificate are John Nedrow and Mary Wilhum. Not certain whether this John should really be Abraham born 1783 or Joseph born 1800? Information from the 1900 census of Markle, Huntington/Wells County, Indiana indicate that his mother was born in Maryland and father born in Pennsylvania. A Joseph born 1800 was in the 1860 and 1870 census living in Huntington Township, Huntington County, Indiana. Also, I found a Michael Nedrow born: 1830 in the 1880 Uniontown, Huntington County, Indiana census, Does anybody know if the Joseph and Michael are related to Simon and his family? Is anyone related to the LANDIS or HEY family that wants to share information? I will be willing to share information. I have information on the Nedrow's (Nedro/Niederauer/Netherow) that goes back to the 1700's in Germany! Simon and Rebecca had six children:
1. Salome Nedrow born: 1842 married John LANDIS. They were in the Rocksprings, Huntington County, Indiana in the 1880 cenus. They had six children and known children are: Stephen, Rebecca, Drucilla, Mary and Emma

I am seeking information about the Adam DAVIDSON family, he was a physician in Buffton in l852. His wife was Ann LITTLE they were marr in Darke Co. Ohio Sept 2, l845, one son Owen P. born @ l847. I am working on Little family history and have been unable to trace this family after l860. Adam was not listed on l860 Wells co census with Ann, Owen and her sister Sarah Newcomb. Thanks
