MISHAWAKA - Gail J. Yike, 59, of 447 White Oak Drive, died of natural causes at 2:20 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital. Mrs. Yike was born Sept. 18, 1935, in Elkhart, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 14, 1952, as Gail J. Hoot, she married Harold Yike, who died in 1982. Surviving are three daughters, Krystal Bullock of Niles, Kristeen Phegley of Defiance, Ohio, and Kathleen Hiner of Mishawaka; three sons, Steve and James, both of Mishawaka, and Phillip of Elkhart; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Phyllis Crawford of Glendale, Ariz. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall North Unit.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday in the Kingdom Hall. Cremation will take place. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
