Harriet M. Wright, 74, of Roseland, died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday in her residence following an illness. Mrs. Wright retired as co-owner of Central Ace Hardware in Roseland in 1987. She was born Aug. 9, 1922, in Wellman, Iowa to Lillian and Arnold Von Hoene, who preceded her in death.

On Nov. 19, 1948, in South Bend, as Harriet M. Von Hoene, she married Wylie T. Wright who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mary Beth Wright of South Bend, Nancy Seely of Indianapolis and Barbara Claypool of Valparaiso; three grandchildren, Jennifer and Christy Claypool and Jeffrey Barth; and a sister, Jean Stull of South Bend.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Cathedral of St. James Episcopal with The Very Rev. Frederick Mann officiating. Entombment will follow in the cathedral. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County or the Cathedral of St. James. Mrs. Wright was a member of the Cathedral of St. James Episcopal and the St. Anne's Guild of the cathedral.
