SOUTH BEND - Adrienna Eleanor Wright, 74, passed away
Tuesday, November 18 of natural causes in her home. Adrienna was
born to James and Cleopatra Nelson on July 25, 1934 in
South Bend. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age in the
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, South Bend. In March 1953
Adrienna married Aaron Wright. Preceding her in death was her
mother and father and her husband, Aaron. Adrienna worked for
Partners Health Plan until her retirement in 2003, and most
recently a teacher assistant for the South Bend Community School
Corporation. Adrienna leaves to cherish her memory three sons,
Steven Scott of Dallas, TX, Edward (Rose) Scott of South
Bend and Aaron (Glenda) Wright Jr. of Niles, MI; three daughters,
June Kirkendolph, Jennifer (James) Seward and
Cleopatra Wright all of South Bend; a sister, Marion Jennings;
11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces
and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Adrienna Wright will be held on Monday, November 24 in the Greater St. John M.B. Church, 101 N. Adams St. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at noon. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
