Mary Jane Wordinger, of Colony Court, Mishawaka, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2006, at Southfield Village in South Bend.

Mary was born in Wakarusa, IN, on 3/19/1918, to the late Oscar and Dorothy (Walters) Roeder. On January 24, 1941, she married Wilbert (Pete) Wordinger in Mishawaka. Pete died on April 18, 1974.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Janice (John) Wolfe of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Rebecca Wolfe of South Bend, IN and Andrew (Erin) Wolfe of Indianapolis, IN.

Mary was the manager of the Pierre Moran Mall in Elkhart prior to her retirement in 1981. She was a graduate of the Michiana College of Commerce and a member of the Osceola United Methodist Church for over 20 years. Mary loved to play cards with her friends at the Battell Center. She also enjoyed reading, watching college sports and traveling. She was a kind, loving and thoughtful person who will be missed more than words can express.

Mary's family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will be at noon. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
