Harold E. Wordinger

July 31, 1923 – May 14, 1992

North Liberty – Harold E. Wordinger, 68, of 59689 Strawberry Road, died at 10:32 p.m. Thursday in Kaylor-Nickel Medical Center, Bluffton, Ind. after an illness.

 

He retired from Hass Concrete Co. as a driver and was a self employed farmer.

 

He was born July 31, 1923 in Wyatt and had lived in North Liberty since 1940.

 

On March 11, 1950 in West Salem, Wis. He married Doris Cullmann. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Debra Wordinger of Woodridge, Ill.; three sons, Bruce and Gary of North Liberty, and David of Virginia; and for grandchildren.

 

Mr. Wordinger was a member of Crumstown Conservation Club, Northern Fishermen’s Club. American Legion Post 284, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3194, Farm Bureau, FOP Lodge 155 and Lydick United Methodist Church.

 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Amen-Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, New Carlisle.

 

Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or to the church.
