Flossie Wordinger

Funeral services for Flossie Wordinger, 89, Cardinal Nursing Home, South Bend, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Warner Funeral Home, Osceola. The Rev. Roger Wenzel, pastor of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Elkhart, will officiate.

 

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

 

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Osceola

 

Mrs. Wordinger died at 4 a.m. Wednesday at the nursing center.

 

She was born May 2, 1895 in Topeka.

 

As Flossie Yoder, she married Jess Wordinger on Dec. 30, 1922 in Goshen. He preceded her in death.

 

Surviving are two sisters, Elma Hardenberg of California, and Sylvia Wright, Milwaukee, Wis.

 

Mrs. Wordinger was a secretary for Tom Mason Printing Co. in Osceola for 10 years before retiring in 1970.
