Osceola - Edward C. Wordinger, 81, of 516 S. Apple Rd., died Thursday morning in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, after an illness of four years.

 

He was born Nov. 20, 1880, in Bremen, and had lived in Osceola for 38 years, coming from Bremen.

 

He was married on Dec. 30, 1916 to Bernice Baugher in South Bend. She survives with four sons, Leonard B., Muncie, Otho V. and Kenneth L., both of Osceola, and Gerald, Bristol; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Elvera) Schalliol, Mishawaka; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother Beuford, South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Smith, Mishawaka, and Mrs. Warren Townsend, Osceola.

 

Friends may call fro 6 to 9 p.m. today in the Warner Funeral Home, where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Thomas Frost of Osceola United Methodist Church will officiate, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
