Benjamin Franklin Wordinger

Osceola - Benjamin Wordinger, 67, died at 10 o’clock last night at his home here following a two years’ illness from heart trouble and complications.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the residence in charge of the Rev. David Hygema of the Mennonite Church of Wakarusa.

 

Burial will be in Bremen.

 

Mr. Wordinger was born in LaGrange County, Ind., Feb. 4, 1965. He moved to Osceola about 20 years ago, where he followed his trade of carpenter contractor.

 

He was married to Mathilda Hemminger 47 years ago at Bremen. In addition to the widow, he is survived by 10 children; Bueford and John Wordinger of Osceola; Mrs. Beulah Smith, Mrs. Pearl Hull and Ralph Wordinger of Mishawaka; Mrs. Viola Townsend of Osceola’ Ed and Clyde Wordinger of Wyatt; Jesse Wordinger of Elkhart and Mrs. Jennie Fox of Bremen; and five sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Bertha Hope and Mrs. Maude Cory, of Mishawaka; Mrs. Etta Alwine of South Bend; Mrs. Rosa Wordinger of Millersburg; Mrs. Mary Ristan and William Wordinger of Syracuse; Amos Wordinger of Millersburg; Harry Wordinger of Goshen, and Ray Wordinger of Benton.
