SOUTH BEND - Thelma E. Wolf, 84, of Fountainview Place Nursing Home, died at 2:25 p.m. Friday in the nursing home. Mrs. Wolf was born Sept. 14, 1910, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 12, 1926, in Valparaiso, she married Harold A. Wolfe. He died Feb. 28, 1977. Surviving are two sons, John C. ''Jack'' and Robert S., both of South Bend; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
