MISHAWAKA - Valeria Angela Winkowski, 84, of Fountainview Place, formerly of South Bend, died at 8:58 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital. Miss Winkowski was a retired accountant. She was born Feb. 9, 1909, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

Surviving are a brother, Edwin Winkowski of South Bend; four nieces, Gladys Arch of South Bend, Angela Felabom of Granger, Jeannie Pettet of South Haven, Mich., and Edwina Ward of Battle Creek, Mich.; and a nephew, Michael Winkowski of Walkerton. She was a member of St. Casimir's Catholic Church, Z.B. Falcons, and Polish Women's Alliance.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Kaniewski Funeral Homes Inc., where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
