KOONTZ LAKE - Oscar Winkelman, 79, of Koontz Lake, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008, in his home. Mr. Winkelman was born August 8, 1928, in Salerno, Florida, and lived at Koontz Lake most of his life.

He is survived by three sisters, Betty Summerlott of Koontz Lake, Paula Wing of Stillwell and Lillian Airhart of Lafayette; one brother, Paul Winkelman of Lewiston, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews. He formerly worked at McCord's in Plymouth and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and member of the Moose Lodge #741 in Plymouth.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. CDT until the time of services. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Walkerton.
