Marie M. Willibey

June 3, 1909 – November 3, 1989

Memorial services for Marie Willibey, 80, of St Paul’s Retirement Home, who died at 11am Friday in St Joseph’s Medical Center, will be at 11am Tuesday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave.  Cremation will take place.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Church of Christ.

Mrs. Willibey retired from South Bend Water Works and served as deputy clerk for St Joseph County.

She was born June 3, 1909, in South Bend and lived in the area all of her life.  On February 18, 1956, in South Bend, as Marie Erhardt, she married David Willibey, who preceded her in death.  Surviving are a sister, Irene Gushwa of South Bend; and two brothers, Kenneth W. Erhardt and Warren E. Erhardt, both of South Bend.

She was a graduate of the former Thomas Commercial College in South Bend.  She was a member of Rose Croix 575 Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the church.
