WALKERTON - Wayne L. Williams, 64, passed away Wednesday,
January 16, 2008, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN. Mr.
Williams was born August 11, 1943, in Plymouth, IN to Raymond and
Virginia (Brown) Williams and lived in the Tyner area all
of his life.
On October 30, 1965, in Plymouth, IN, he was
married to Elaine Shafer; she survives. Also surviving are
one daughter, Melissa (Glen) Stokes of Walkerton; twin
grandsons, Jacob and Dillon Stokes; two brothers, Glendon (Linda)
Williams of Plymouth and Paul (Kathy) Williams of Zephyrhills,
FL; three sisters, Kathy (Don) Keller of Zephyrhills, FL,
Diana Sobeck of Kissimmee, FL and Sharon Williams of
Huntington, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one
brother, Fredrick Williams. Mr. Williams was a carpenter with the
Carpenter's Union #1485 and 413 and a member of the Sons of the
American Legion Post #189 of Walkerton and Sons of the VFW of
North Liberty.
Funeral Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m.
Eastern Time in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial
will be at Tyner Cemetery Friends may call Saturday after 1 p.m.
until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be given
to the family.
